20" Vermont Pine Wreath (or any other evergreen wreath); 10.5" Poly Jute Mesh: Red/Moss Grn/Natural; 2.5" Rustic Check Bordered Ribbon (sold out, try using a gingham or gingham edge ribbon like RGA1099W4, RG0132036, or plaid like RGA1807) 2.5" Gingerbread Ribbon: Beige; 1.5" Royal Faux Burlap Ribbon: Burgundy; Gingerbread Arrow Sign; Gingerbread Boy Wreath Kit (Can use Gingerbread Girl Kit also); 27" Knit Fabric Candy Cane Spray (sold out); 6" Cupcake Ornament: Vanilla (One of each item is all you will need)
We used about 8 pieces of mesh cut about 20", and turned them into "scruffles" (roll each end under, then scrunch to turn into a ruffle), spacing them around the wreath. Lay out the gingerbread pieces to get an idea of where you will anchor them (we pulled out the built in wires and used 18 gauge wire to poke through each piece instead). We made two large bows using the plaid ribbon and solid burgundy ribbon, and placed them across from each other, just above the hands, then made smaller bows to fill in with the same ribbon. We added in five pieces of the gingerbread ribbon, spaced around the wreath, and pulled off pieces of the knit candy cane spray and added them in. After all was done, we decided he needed a cupcake, and hot glued that down.
